Why Catalpa?
OUR MISSION: Helping children and families improve their mental health and wellness.
A study on the quality of life in the Fox Cities, called the 2011 Local Indicators For Excellence (LIFE) study, indicated children and teens in our area need better access to mental health care.
In response to that study, the three major health systems in the community, Ascension Wisconsin, Children’s Wisconsin and ThedaCare teamed together to form Catalpa Health. Throughout the next five years, our goal is to expand, adding new providers and new services, all in an effort to meet the growing demand for access to mental health care in our community. We also partner with several local agencies and resources specializing in mental health care for youth. Children and teens in our community will now be able to receive the care they need, close to home.

Access Center
Catalpa Health opened the doors to its Access Center Wednesday, April 2, 2014. By opening the Access Center, Catalpa Health is making a renewed commitment to serve area children, teens and their families by significantly reducing wait times for mental health assessments.
